I replaced the multi turn shut off valve for the hot water under my kitchen sink. There is no drip (I observed for 2-3 minutes) , however after leaving a dry paper towel touching and surrounding the area where the shut off valve is threaded into the hot water pipe, it had a damp spot. I used Teflon/plumber’s tape when I threaded the shut off valve into the pipe. I tightened it pretty good with my pipe wrench.
